Maximillion’s Story & Our Mission
Maximillion’s Muddy Puddles was established to preserve the memory of four-year-old Maximillion Robert Wilder Wood. Following his tragic passing, his family turned profound grief into a purpose-driven effort to serve others.
We provide direct support to families experiencing sudden child loss while working to create a vibrant, joyful space where new memories can be made and loved ones are honored.

Driven by Dedicated Community Leaders
Our initiative brings together a dedicated Board of Directors, a Strategic Project Team, and a Steering Committee composed of local professionals. The team includes landscape architects, bio-environmental engineers, educators, city council members, and finance professionals working toward long-term stability and excellence.

Maximillion’s Muddy Puddles (MMP) is a Foundation to
preserve the memory of Maximillion Robert Wilder Wood.
MMP is a nonprofit 501c3 tax exempt organization and will be fundraising to begin providing these services to the local community and build the Indianola Children’s Splash Pad memorial.
